We publish what the instrument does, and what it will not claim.
Most readiness scores are a black box. This page states the scale, the bands, the basis of the number, and the claims the report is not permitted to make. If you are going to govern a transformation on a measurement, you should be able to check the measurement first.
THE SCALE
The scale, stated plainly.
Every layer is scored 1 to 5. The composite is the weighted mean of six architecture layer scores and cannot exceed 5. The gate target is 3.75. Fully ready is 4.5.

WHAT THE REPORT WILL NOT CLAIM
Four things this instrument does not do.

It does not predict programme outcomes.
It measures structural readiness at a point in time.

It does not grade people.
Every reading is about architecture, not individuals.

It does not replace a gate decision.
A gate is decided by a named accountable owner and recorded.

It does not average away a weak layer.
Priority is computed from the gap against the gate target, so a weak layer holding your gate outranks a low score that already clears it.
